About

Curious by nature. Deliberate by habit.

I’m Denise, an independent growth and systems consultant. I work with founders, business owners and teams globally, on the thinking, the building, and the steady work of keeping things running well.

How I learned to see the whole picture.

My work has never lived in one lane. Over more than six years, I’ve worked across digital operations, websites, marketing, funnels, SEO, and the systems connecting them.

That mix taught me to see businesses as connected parts. A problem that appears in one place often starts somewhere else. So before changing anything, I look at how the pieces work together, where things break down, and what actually needs attention.

I’m quick to find my footing in a new business. I learn how its people, processes, and tools work together, then take ownership of what’s mine. Joining a team with established tools and routines suits me well. I work within what’s already there, improving what needs attention without rebuilding what already works.

What I bring to a team.

  • Independent thinkingI form my own view from the evidence, and I share it clearly, with the context behind it.
  • Curiosity and initiativeI like knowing why things work the way they do. If I spot something worth fixing, you’ll hear about it, usually with a proposed next step.
  • Attention to detailTracking, copy, forms, handover notes. The small things are where good work quietly holds together.
  • Thoughtful executionI’d rather do the right thing well than five things halfway.
  • AdaptabilityNew tools, established routines, different ways of working. I learn how a team works and fit in without asking it to change around me.
  • Reliability and ownershipWhen something is mine, I see it through, and you won’t need to chase it.

Most of my work is remote. Clear writing, steady updates and agreed check-ins keep everything moving between conversations.

Different industries. Same curiosity.

I’ve worked across businesses with very different customers, challenges, and ways of operating. What helps me move between them is knowing where to start: understand the business, how the work gets done, what the customer needs, and where the pieces connect.

  • B2B & SaaS
  • Financial services & investments
  • Education & childcare technology
  • Healthcare & wellness
  • Professional & creative services
  • Industrial equipment & construction
  • Exhibitions & business services
  • AI, automation & communications technology
  • Luxury & specialist services

Different industries have different details. The underlying work is often familiar: understand the people, processes, and systems, then figure out where I can contribute.

Away from the screen.

A quiet, pale beach with a single leaning palm tree at the water’s edge.

You’ll usually find me at the gym, coffee shop, or, given half a chance, somewhere near the beach.

I like movement, good music, and a change of scenery. Some days that’s a workout. Other days, it’s taking my laptop somewhere with a better view.

One of the things I enjoy about independent work is the freedom to work from different places without losing focus.

Give me a clear set of priorities, a good system, and room to get things done, and I’m quite happy finding my own rhythm.
